Ask your resort about access before committing to an outside photographer. A room reservation, guest pass, and permission to work at the wedding are different questions, so explain exactly who you want to bring.
Give the coordinator the photographer’s name, proposed team size, event date, and spaces needed for coverage. Include getting-ready rooms as well as the ceremony and reception. Ask who can provide written confirmation for the entire plan.
Ask whether the property has an outside-vendor policy, an additional charge, or documentation requirements. Request the terms for your own event rather than relying on another couple’s experience. Then ask the photographer which expenses are included in the quote so the two sets of arrangements can be compared.
Record the approved arrival time, entry point, coordinator contact, permitted spaces, and departure arrangements in the final schedule. If preparations move to another property, check that address separately. Share the written confirmation with your planner and photographer before the wedding.
Found a photographer whose work feels like you? Send me your date, resort, and the venue’s outside-photographer requirements. That is the starting point for discussing your celebration and the arrangements it needs.
